hi there!

i’m mckenzie.  sandra’s daughter.  she hate’s being called sandra but it’s one of my most favorite ways to give her a hard time.  <3

the need for this blog arose when all 10 million of my mom’s precious friends asked me to call them to update them on what’s going on with my mom.  i’m a busy mom of two young kids and i just didn’t have the time (or the minutes… uhhh, yah – i’m talking to you verizon) to call and keep in touch.  so i figured i’d just start this blog and people could come and go as they wish but the information would always be available.

i suppose here is the place where i should tell you i’m using this blog not only to keep people updated but also as a journal so that someday i’ll be able to look back at these precious last days with my mamas.  and so – i’ll be pouring my heart and soul onto these pages and i hope you can hang.  <3
