mom was diagnosed with end stage liver disease in january of 2012.  the doctors gave her less than a 50% chance of surviving a year.  but we are determined to FIGHT!

we’ve been working diligently to keep her as healthy as possible so that she could be a candidate for a liver transplant.

edit:  unfortunately, on monday, september 10th we found out she is no longer being considered because she had declined too far to survive the procedure and sustain the liver after her recovery.  we’ve involved hospice and are focusing solely on comfort care and soaking up every moment we can before mama bear joins my dad in heaven.  <3  please do keep us in your prayers.

edit:  my sweet mama bear went to heaven at 10:05 pm on friday, November 2, 2012.  we laid her to rest next to my dad in sunset hills cemetery in bozeman, montana.
